by Kayla O'Conner

It was a dark rainy evening When Sherlock Holmes and Watson were sitting indoors when the phone rang.

"Hello? Oh, Hi Chief there's been a robbery at Mr.Hooperdink's store? W'ell be right there."

So they got their umbrellas and started out for Mr.Hooperdink's store. When they got there Mr.Hooperdink was crying. The store was a mess.

"Look Watson, muddy footprints!" So they followed the muddy footprints out into the street.

"By the looks of things this man is six feet tall, wears a hat and has a bag full of loot."

"how did you figure this all out?"

"Elementary dear Watson, He's standing right there." The man started running. "After him!" The man ran faster untill he disappeared around the corner.

"We'll never catch him at this rate, Holmes."

"Let's hop in that carriage and go for a ride.Driver follow that man!" Trot trot trot went the horses feet. The man doged into an alley. The carriage went past. Zoom! So the man came out of the alley. Shhhhching!!!! The great Sherlock Holmes had been waiting outside the alley and had locked him in a cuff of iron. The man was put in jail.

Sherlock Holmes had just gotten home when the phone rang again. It was Chief reporting another crime.

"Oh boy here we go again!"
